PICTURE YOURSELF IN THE WORLD HERE TODAY
We live in an extraordinary time; a world where greed is good and things to be fearful of are in abundance. It's a time where we often feel quite powerless to global change and yet, oddly, anything seems possible! It's a time when celebrities and money are elevated high, yet so many people struggle daily to create a positive impact for themselves and their surroundings; feeling often like a misshaped jigsaw bit that just doesn't fit in this puzzled world.
The Times of Rhymes is a digital illustration depicting 50 rhymes that represent the times we live in today.
It inspired a short documentary to be created about artist, Adam Parsons and the process for this work. Currently the documentary has won three major awards and has been nominated for a fourth. The Illustrator captures the story of Adam Parsons and his mission to impact the world through art. Filmed by students at Taylor University and Directed by Camden Johnson this short documentary brings the Times of Rhymes to life and will be available for public viewing once all the competition entries are completed.
Thankfully, within many of these challenges is an abundance of possibility.

This is how the Times of Rhymes was created. It's a visual documentation through one man's lens of the Times we live in today. There are stories that need to be told; that need to be remembered, and have similar messages to the Nursery Rhymes we sing to our children from times gone by.
